Four San Francisco Giants fans have been arrested after a violent fight broke out in the stands during Thursday night’s game.
The brawl broke out during Thursday’s game against the Colorado Rockies at Oracle Park in San Francisco, Ca. Video that went viral on social media showed a number of fans violently throwing punches and tackling each other near the field, including one man in a Raiders jersey who appears to attack a woman who is lying prone on the ground.

The San Francisco Police Department told TMZ that what was initially a verbal argument turned physical. Four fans were arrested on charges that vary from assault to intoxication. Three other fans were cited for their role in the fight, and an investigation is still ongoing.
Giants fans do not necessarily have the best reputation, at least among NL West rivals. This likely will not do anything to improve that perception.
