Aaron Judge expected to return to full strength by end of season
Aaron Judge is expected to be at full strength and return to the New York Yankees’ lineup before the conclusion of the regular season.
Judge has been sidelined since late July with a fractured wrist, which he suffered after being hit by a pitch. Judge’s recovery has been slower than expected. However, despite the slow progression, Yankees manager Aaron Boone expects the slugger to be at full strength before the end of the regular season.

In Judge’s absence, Giancarlo Stanton, Neil Walker, and Shane Robinson have been manning right field. New York is currently six games behind the Boston Red Sox in the American League East. The also hold the top spot in the AL wild card race. A healthy Judge could go a long way in helping the Yankees chase down Boston or secure the top spot in the wild card standings.
