Adrian Gonzalez may not make Dodgers’ postseason roster due to injury
The Los Angeles Dodgers may not end up having Adrian Gonzalez available during the postseason.
Gonzalez has been limited to 64 games this season due to a back injury that has him day-to-day. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Wednesday that the herniated disc in Gonzalez’s back might keep the first baseman off the team’s playoff roster.
Adrian Gonzalez's back is still bothering him, and Roberts said it's possible Gonzalez does not make the playoff roster because of that.

Gonzalez missed about two weeks in May, then he was out about two months from the middle of June through the middle of August. He’s only seen limited action the past two weeks.
The 35-year-old is batting just .248/.291/.349 this season, so he hasn’t been himself even when he’s been in the lineup. The Dodgers have enough good bats on the team where missing a less-than-healthy Gonzalez probably won’t hurt them.
