NFL fans think John Harbaugh has had it with Cam Skattebo based on a video of them interacting on the sideline during Friday’s preseason game.
The New York Giants decided to kneel out the clock against the New York Jets during Friday’s preseason matchup with a 23-6 lead. Some Giants, Skattebo included, apparently hoped the team would keep pushing on offense and try to put up 30 on their opponents.
In one video, Skattebo can be seen talking to Harbaugh before walking away, and Harbaugh’s expression might be described as annoyed.

Based on the video, many fans suggested that Harbaugh has already tired of Skattebo. Others added that quarterback Jaxson Dart also seemed less pleased after Skattebo walked away.

Skattebo notably drew criticism during the offseason for attempting a backflip while coming off a serious ankle injury, but Harbaugh largely shrugged that off. More recently, however, Harbaugh described some of Skattebo’s actions as “infectious in a bad way” after the running back was accused of sparking multiple practice fights.
Skattebo had a promising start to his rookie season in 2025 and scored five touchdowns in eight games before suffering the injury. The Giants brought in veteran Najee Harris in the offseason, however, and he may wind up occupying a significant role in the team’s offense. That could be bad news for Skattebo, especially if he really is in Harbaugh’s doghouse.
