Speaking with reporters before his MLB debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, rookie Alex Verdugo said the veteran first baseman gave him a funny tip about playing in the outfield, per Bill Plunkett of the OC Register.

The aforementioned Yasiel Puig is certainly unorthodox when it comes to his outfield ways, often choosing to rely on his physical gifts more than anything. With that in mind, it’s probably good advice from the 13-year vet Gonzalez.
