Alex Bregman carried his bat all the way to first on moonshot home run in Game 6
Alex Bregman has been drawing some attention for his home run celebrations in the postseason, and Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday night was no exception.
Bregman took a 2-0 pitch from Stephen Strasburg and launched a monstrous home run to deep left field to give Houston a 2-1 lead over the Washington Nationals. Bregman admired the home run for a second before heading towards first. The Astros third baseman decided to carry his bat with him all the way down to first before missing his hand off to his first base coach Don Kelly:

Alex Bregman just hit a home run, ran to first base with his bat in his hand, tried to hand the bat to first-base coach Don Kelly and missed the handoff. The bat sat in the middle of the diamond until it was removed.

Bregman also took his sweet time after a home run in Game 2 and then after his grand slam in Game 4.
He’s up to three home runs and eight RBIs in the World Series and has been dragging his big bat all over the Nats.
