Andrew McCutchen had unique worry after being traded to Yankees
There are always a few hassles when you’re traded as a professional athlete, but Andrew McCutchen had a rather unique one after being shipped from the San Francisco Giants to the New York Yankees.
McCutchen immediately had to comply with the Yankees’ famous facial hair policy. But he had one worry: his son might not know what to make of him clean-shaven.
Andrew McCutchen said he was worried about his son not recognizing him without a beard so he held him while he was shaving so Steel could see it was still him.

At least McCutchen was fine with getting rid of his facial hair. Some players couldn’t play for the Yankees just because of that. And hey, if you have a young child, something like this could well be a very real concern.
