Angels SS Andrelton Simmons appears to troll Astros on Instagram story
Thursday went from Houston Astros Apology Day to Everyone Bash the Astros Day. Even a rival appeared to take a shot at them.
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons posted an image on his Instagram story that showed three asterisks. The asterisks post came after Simmons shared clips from a song he liked, so the posts seemed unrelated.

Was the asterisks posting a coincidence or did it have meaning? The colors of the asterisks — white, orange and blue — are Houston’s colors, making it seem pretty clear that the post was intended for the Astros.
Astros players spoke on Thursday, with star players Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve apologizing in very scripted statements. Team owner Jim Crane was roasted for his embarrassingly absurd statement that the cheating did not impact the game.
MLB did not give the Astros an asterisk as punishment to note the 2017 World Series was won while the team was cheating, but one is deserved as we’ve said, and Simmons seems to at least be joking about it. It’s the least players can do.
Fans and players are rightfully upset about the matter, and the lack of genuine remorse coming from the Astros is alarming.
The Houston Astros are confirmed cheaters and deserve an asterisk. Send that message by wearing our Houston Asterisks T-shirt! You can buy it here:
