Bad Bunny’s baseball agency signs Ronald Acuña Jr.’s brother to marketing deal
The sports agency started by musical artist Bad Bunny has signed one of Ronald Acuña Jr.’s brothers to a marketing deal.
Rimas Sports announced on Wednesday that they have signed Bryan Acuña to a marketing deal. Ronald Acuña Jr. is also represented by Rimas Sports, which specializes in representing Latino clients.
Bryan Acuña signed with the Minnesota Twins in 2022 and is listed at 18 years old. He has batted .429 in the Florida Complex League this season, which is a Rookie ball league. He also played in the Dominican Summer League in 2022 upon signing with Minnesota.
The Acuña’s have a big baseball family. The father, Ronald Acuña Sr., played minor league ball. 26-year-old Ronald Acuña Jr is the reigning NL MVP. 22-year-old Luisangel Acuña is in the Mets’ minor league system. And young Bryan is an infielder prospect for the Twins.
Rimas Sports has been under investigation by the MLBPA for alleged violations of the players association’s policy for agents. The agency responded by suing the MLBPA.
