Blake Snell’s full heel turn appears to be complete.
The new Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Snell decided to fire back this week at a San Francisco Giants fan who left a negative comment about him on Snell’s Instagram page. The fan comment read, “Yeah we were following you when you were with the Giants. But sadly you chose [money emojis] over greatness.”
“go dodgers,” Snell wrote in reply. “be upset with your team. Don’t hate when you don’t know anything other than where I signed.”

Here is a screenshot of the interaction.
Blake Snell responding to a Giants fan with "go dodgers" is just so funny to me. He's going to make those games against the Giants a lot more fun. pic.twitter.com/r0ZlgAiGiS

The two-time Cy Young winner Snell spent last season with the Giants, posting a 3.12 ERA over 20 total starts. But he left the team in November to sign with the Dodgers, San Francisco’s most hated rivals, on a massive five-year deal.
Snell’s response to the fan here indicates that the Giants may not have given him the contract that he was looking for. As a result, he will be moving forward with the defending World Series champions instead (while San Francisco moves forward with a new ex-Cy Young winner of their own).
