Blue Jays reportedly not seriously talking Marcus Stroman trade
Teams are showing interest in Marcus Stroman, but it does not sound like the Toronto Blue Jays are too interested in trading their pitcher.
MLB Network’s Jon Morosi reported on Saturday that the Jays are not in serious trade discussions regarding Stroman. He mentions the Cincinnati Reds as a team interested in the pitcher.

Stroman, 27, has two more years of arbitration with Toronto before he is set to become a free agent. The undersized pitcher had plenty of success from 2014-2017, going 37-25 with a 3.62 ERA. He had a rough time this year though and went 4-9 with a 5.54 ERA and was shut down in September due to a blister.
He seems like a solid bounce-back candidate in 2019, and it seems like the Jays are hoping he’ll be able to bounce back with them.
