The Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees are working on finalizing a deal for pitcher JA Happ, according to a report.
Former New York Mets GM Steve Phillips, who is now an MLB Network Radio host, says the Jays are looking to finalize a deal with the Yanks.

The report should come as no surprise for two reasons. One, the Jays already traded Seung Hwan Oh to Colorado on Wednesday and appear to be in trade mode. Two, the Yankees have been repeatedly linked to Happ, including earlier in the day.
The veteran southpaw has a 4.18 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 114 innings this season.
