Yankees reportedly have JA Happ high on their list
The New York Yankees have some interest in adding starting pitching help, and J.A. Happ is said to be high on their list.
Fan Cred’s Jon Heyman reports that the Yankees have Happ high on their list of starting pitching options. However, he says they view the asking price as high for now.
Yanks have J.A. Happ near the top of their realistic rotation trade options (they don’t see degrom or Thor as especially realistic) but to this point have found the asking price on Happ high

The Yankees aren’t the only team that’s been tied to Happ; so have the Mariners, Brewers, and another NL Central team.
Happ would be owed the remainder of the $12 million he is making this season. The 35-year-old southpaw has been hit hard his last two times out and is now carrying a 4.44 ERA this season, though his WHIP (1.18) and strikeouts (115) remain solid. The Toronto Blue Jays seem likely to trade him.
