Bryce Harper offering to play in Taiwan, Japan amid MLB lockout
Bryce Harper is looking to stay busy amid the MLB lockout and even joked about playing overseas.
The Philadelphia Phillies star drew some attention last week for sharing a photo of himself in a Yomiuri Giants jersey and jokingly told the Japanese team to reach out to his agent.

Harper was back at it again.
He posted a photo this weekend of him in a CTBC Brothers uniform. Brothers are a team in Taiwan.

Harper, of course, is just joking around about the situation; the Phillies still hold his rights through 2031. But this underscores how eager Harper is to get down to business.
Harper already signed his massive $330 million contract in 2019, so he has less personally at stake with the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, though he likely is still supporting his fellow players.
Harper is coming off his second career NL MVP season. The 29-year-old outfielder batted .309 with 35 home runs and a 1.044 OPS.
