Chicago police scanner details madness of Cubs fans celebrating

Nobody knew how Game 7 of the World Series would shake out on Wednesday, but there was one certainty: if the Cubs won the game, the scene around Wrigleyville in Chicago would be nuts.

Well, the Cubs won it all, and the atmosphere around Wrigleyville was crazy.

From fans climbing light poles — and falling from them — to robberies, people rushing Wrigley Field, and more, the madness in Chicago hit all-time levels.

A Twitter account following the activity reported on the police scanner in Chicago shared some of the wild stories they heard about. Take a look at the incidents to unfold in the first hour after the Cubs won it all:
