Corey Kluber lifted from rehab assignment with abdominal tightness
The Cleveland Indians would still like to get Corey Kluber back before the end of the regular season, but he suffered a setback in his rehab on Sunday.
Kluber left his rehab start at Triple-A after just one inning, with the Indians citing abdominal tightness as the reason.
Kluber was limited to one inning with left abdominal tightness and was removed for precautionary purposes. https://t.co/IxWxObnIrA

Kluber broke his arm on May 1 and hasn’t pitched in a big league game since. Cleveland had been hoping to get him back before the end of August, but it remains to be seen if this will significantly alter that timeline. It looks minor, but minor things have quickly derailed rehab assignments for other players this season.
