Dallas Keuchel attends Angels game in agent Scott Boras’ suite
Dallas Keuchel’s location on Friday night shows everything that is wrong with his year.
Keuchel was spotted sitting in agent Scott Boras’ box behind home plate at Angel Stadium in Anaheim for Friday night’s Angels-Texas Rangers game.

Keuchel, who is a client of Boras, has gone unsigned this year.
A two-time All-Star and former Cy Young Award winner, Keuchel tied for the league lead with 34 starts last season, but also allowed a league-high 211 hits. He’s had some arm trouble and carried a 3.74 ERA last season, two years after going 9-12 with a 4.55 ERA. Those concerns likely led to Boras not receiving the kind of free agent offers he was seeking for his client.
Keuchel has had contract offers though, and the fact that he remains unsigned shows his agent misread the market. How is it helping his client to be unemployed despite offers to pay him millions? Boras has been misreading the market the past two years, and Keuchel sitting in his box watching an MLB game in late May is the epitome of that problem.
