Daniel Hudson reportedly returning to Nationals on two-year deal
The Washington Nationals are bringing back a key part of their World Series bullpen.
Daniel Hudson has agreed to a two-year deal to return to the Nationals, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Daniel Hudson's deal with the Washington Nationals is for two years and $11 million, sources tell ESPN. He can earn another $1 million in performance bonuses related to games finished.

Hudson was acquired in a trade with Toronto last season and proved indispensable for Washington in the playoffs. He posted a 1.44 ERA in 24 regular season appearances with the Nationals before saving four playoff games.
This is the second big deal the Nationals have made to bolster their bullpen this week. Historically a huge Achilles heel for the team, it could turn out to be a major asset in 2020.
