David Ortiz moved out of intensive care
David Ortiz’s condition continues to improve roughly three weeks after he was shot in the Dominican Republic.
In a statement released by Ortiz’s wife Tiffany through the Boston Red Sox, it was announced that Ortiz has been moved out of the ICU and remains in good condition as he continues his recovery from the shooting.

The news on Ortiz’s health continues to be excellent. Despite the frightening attack, he appears to be progressing and on the road to recovery.
Ortiz was shot in the Dominican Republic on June 9 in what prosecutors believe was a case of mistaken identity. He is recovering in Boston.
