Diamondbacks P Archie Bradley welcomes Jarrod Dyson with perfect tweet
Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley welcomed his newest teammate with a perfectly worded tweet.
On Monday, Arizona lost out on free agent slugger J.D. Martinez when it was reported he had agreed to terms on a five-year deal with the Red Sox. However, the Diamondbacks made quick work filling the void in their outfield by signing speedster Jarrod Dyson.
After hearing the news of both moves, Bradley sent this tweet making reference to the initials “JD.”
Guess we got JD after all!!!! Please give a warm @Dbacks welcome to @mrzoombiya #letsgoo

Dyson spent last year with the Mariners after spending the first seven years of his MLB career with the Royals. The 33-year-old is known for his defense and speed. He has stolen 25-plus bases each of the past six seasons, which is why he is a nice consolation in the “JD” sweepstakes.
