The Chicago White Sox shared some excellent news about Danny Farquhar on Monday.
The team announced that Farquhar has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for a brain hemorrhage during a home game on April 20. Though his doctor will not clear Farquhar to pitch again this season so he can have full time to recover, the neurosurgeon said he expects Farquhar to be able to pitch again.

The 31-year-old reliever had made eight appearances this season before collapsing following an appearance against the Houston Astros on April 20. If he’s able to heal and resume his playing career after such a frightening experience, that would be incredible.
