A different member of the Lindor family had the Citi Field crowd on its feet Tuesday during the New York Mets’ game against the San Diego Padres.

Mets All-Star Francisco Lindor watched from near the dugout as his wife, Katia Lindor, had the privilege of performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on violin before the Mets-Padres contest. Francisco was more than comfortable to yield the spotlight to his talented partner for a night.

Lindor looked completely moved as Katia played the piece. The moment she finished, Francisco flashed his signature smile and jumped up and down while celebrating with their three young children.

Here’s another angle of the wholesome moment.

Proud husband moment 🥹❤️

Lindor, motivated by his wife’s performance, put on a show of his own on the field. Lindor led off the bottom of the first with a single that sparked a five-run inning for the home team.

During his second at-bat, Lindor hit a solo home run to give the Mets a 6-1 lead in the second inning.

Francisco Lindor went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, and 2 RBIs in the Mets’ 8-3 win over the Padres.

The Lindors clearly have each other’s backs. Mets fans may recall Katia Lindor defending her husband when he once got called out by a former All-Star teammate.
