The Los Angeles Dodgers may have a big problem with the health of first baseman Freddie Freeman.
Freeman left Sunday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Ca. in the sixth inning. The first baseman was struck on the wrist by a Jose Quintana pitch, and immediately took himself out of the game.

Concerningly, Freeman did not even try to go to first base. He went straight to the dugout and down the tunnel as he left the game.
The Dodgers characterized the injury as a left wrist contusion. However, a high level of concern will remain until further tests are done to confirm whether or not the first baseman broke any bones.
Freeman came into Sunday’s game hitting .294 with 10 home runs and 49 RBIs. He also missed time in April with a fluke injury, but this could be more serious.
The Dodgers went on to lose Sunday’s game to Milwaukee 6-5, marking their 10th loss in their last 12 games.
