Gary Sanchez’s groin injury is serious enough that it could keep him out for up to a month.
According to New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Sanchez will miss 3 to 4 weeks with what is being called a grade one strain.

The good news, if there is any, is that the timetable puts him back around or just after the All-Star break, and that week off will at least minimize some of the games Sanchez will miss.
Sanchez hurt his groin running out a double play grounder in Sunday’s game at Tampa. While he’s hitting under .200, he’s also hit 14 home runs, so his absence will be felt at least somewhat.
