Gary Sanchez, Yankees just own David Price
Few hitters in baseball history have owned a pitcher more than Gary Sanchez does with David Price. For that matter, the New York Yankees seem to own Price as a whole this season.
Sanchez smacked a solo home run off Price in the top of the second inning of Game 2 of the ALDS between the Boston Red Sox and Yankees on Saturday. Sanchez’s homer went to left, compared to Aaron Judge’s in the first, which went to center.

Sanchez has a history of unreal success against Price. He his now 7-for-14 with six home runs off Price in his career.
But the dominance doesn’t end there. The homer by Sanchez was the 11th Price had allowed in 16.2 innings against the Yankees this season. Price had only allowed 16 homers in 160.1 innings against all other teams.
The start was so bad for Price that he was lifted with runners on the corners and two outs in the second, down 3-0.
