Giants honor Vin Scully with cupcakes, signs
The Giants and Dodgers may be extreme rivals, but that fact did not stop San Francisco from going all out to honor longtime Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully on the announcer’s final game before retirement.
The Giants gave out signs saying “Thank You Vin,” while fans at AT&T Park honored the legendary broadcaster with a standing ovation:

In the press box, there were even more honors for Scully. There were special cupcakes made to honor the broadcaster, and special cards were also given out.

Scully has been a broadcaster for the Dodgers for 67 years going back to their time in Brooklyn. The 88-year-old finally decided to retire and make 2016 his last season.
