Giants reportedly latest team to register interest in Aroldis Chapman
The San Francisco Giants are reportedly the latest team to reach out to Aroldis Chapman’s agent.
The free agent reliever, who has also been linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, is reportedly garnering interest from the Giants as well.

The Giants are in desperate need of bullpen help, as their relievers limped to the finish in 2016. Sergio Romo ended up the closer, but the revolving door of relievers Bruce Bochy used to try unsuccessfully to close out Game 4 of the NLDS said all you need to know about the manager’s faith in his options.
Of course, Chapman won’t come cheap. According to reports, he’s seeking what would be a record contract for a relief pitcher.
