Color Gio Gonzalez impressed by his superstar teammate who goes by the name of Bryce Aron Max Harper.
After Harper hit a game-tying eighth-inning home run to help the Washington Nationals top the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the NLDS on Saturday, Gonzalez had this excellent response to being asked if Harper had “the clutch gene,” per Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports:

Harper’s homer kicked off a five-run eighth-inning onslaught for the Nats, who ultimately won by the final of 6-3 to even the series at one game apiece. Gonzalez is probably particularly appreciative since he started the game for Washington and was on the hook for the loss until Harper’s game-tying shot.
