Report: Indians discussing relief pitching with Orioles
The Cleveland Indians have a huge need for relief help, and they’re reportedly searching the market accordingly.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, the Indians have spoken to the Baltimore Orioles about reliever Mychal Givens, an option who can pitch multiple innings out of the bullpen.

Givens has a 4.40 ERA this season, but he has a track record of success, having posted a 2.75 mark in 2017. Importantly, he can go multiple innings, and he’s struck out 55 batters in 47 innings. Given the issues Cleveland has had at the back of their bullpen this season, he’d help.
We have reason to believe that Givens isn’t the only player the Indians and Orioles are discussing.
