Indians reportedly interested in trading for Adam Jones
The Baltimore Orioles are clearly in a position to be sellers at the trade deadline, and Manny Machado may not be the only star player they are looking to move.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Cleveland Indians are considering the possibility of making a play for outfielder Adam Jones.

While he has seen his production fall off a bit over the past two years, Jones has been one of the most reliable players in baseball for the better part of the last decade. He misses very few games and typically hits around .275 with 25-30 home runs. The 32-year-is hitting .275 this year with 10 homers and 33 RBI, which isn’t bad considering how horrible the Orioles have been as a team.
Though he is one of Baltimore’s most popular players, Jones is set to become a free agent after the season. If the Orioles can get prospects in return for him, it makes sense to trade him now while his value is still relatively high.
