Report: Two injured Yankees could start rehab assignments this week
The New York Yankees are at least getting close to getting some of their key players back from injury.
According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, the team is hopeful that injured infielders Troy Tulowitzki and Miguel Andujar could start rehab assignments at some point this week ahead of a potential return.
Yankees are hopeful Tulo and Andujar could start rehab assignments this week. Urshela and LeMahieu X-rays were negative tho DJ (knee) will have precautionary MRI today. There’s part of the Yankees infield injury update (of course DIdi and Bird are also on the IL).

Andujar hasn’t played since the end of March with a shoulder issue, while Tulowitzki last played Apr. 3 due to a calf problem. There are bigger players that are still further away, but this still helps, and the Yankees have managed to hold their own at 17-11 even with all these injury issues.
