Terry Francona has now managed eleven World Series games in his career and won ten of them after helping to engineer a 1-0 Cleveland victory at Wrigley Field on Friday night. In fact, his managerial prowess in games such as these has even some of his players in awe.
Every button Francona pushed worked, and his star second baseman Jason Kipnis admitted that he doesn’t even bother questioning the skipper anymore.

Francona made some bold moves in the NL ballpark, this one chief among them. Everything seemed to work out, from his pitching staff management to his pinch hitters and defensive shuffles. He’s a big reason Cleveland is just two wins away from a championship.
