Jayson Werth goes ‘Mean Girls’ on Dan Kolko (Video)
We have a confession to make — we here at LBS are fans of the movie “Mean Girls.” The good (disturbing?) news is that our love for Regina George is shared by at least one other grown man, and that man is Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth.
Following the Nationals’ 5-2 win over the New York Mets on Friday night, Werth dropped a “Mean Girls” reference on MASN’s Dan Kolko. Werth realized that Dan Kolko sounds an awful lot like “Glen Coco.”
“We got the W, that’s the most important thing,” Werth said. “And we’re back here tomorrow to play again. And good for you, Dan Kolko! You go, Dan Kolko!”
For those of you who are unfamiliar with “Mean Girls,” this is the part Werth referenced.
Kolko took it in stride.
And none for Gretchen Wieners. #MeanGirls #WerthGotMe

I wonder if that was just something that came to Werth naturally or if he has been planning on it for a while. My guess is it was rehearsed.
