Jayson Werth’s son shares 6-word reaction after winning Belmont Stakes
Jayson Werth’s son Jackson had a 6-word reaction to their horse Dornoch winning the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.
Jayson Werth, who was an All-Star and won a World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies, is involved in horse racing and a co-owner of Dornoch. Werth, now 45 years old, said that winning the Belmont as an owner is as satisfying as winning the World Series.
His son had a much more profane response to the win.
Jackson was present for the race and shared his reaction via X on Saturday night.
“F–ked around and won the Belmont,” Jackson wrote on X (censored by LBS).
This great video shows just how hyped the Werths were as the race was concluding.

Like his father, Jackson played baseball and was part of the Belmont Bruins baseball team as a freshman in 2022. He now is a student at the University of Kentucky, though it doesn’t look like he’s playing ball for them. Maybe some more involvement in horse racing is in his future.
