Watch: Joe Kelly uncorks crazy wild pitch against Red Sox
Joe Kelly on Saturday uncorked what had to be one of the wildest pitches of the season.
Kelly was pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the bottom of the sixth inning against his former team, the Boston Red Sox. He had runners on first and second with two outs when he launched this pitch to the backstop:

That looked like a rise ball in fastpitch softball.
The wild pitch, which was clocked at 99 mph, moved the runners to second and third, but Kelly struck out Christian Vazquez to end the inning.
That wild pitch is befitting of the way Kelly’s season has gone. He’s been mostly a disaster since 3-year, $25 million deal with the Dodgers over the offseason. He allowed one of Boston’s two runs in the game, though the Dodgers scored enough to easily win 11-2.
