Joey Votto shuts down kid who asks for his batting gloves
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto has something of a habit of trolling fans while on the road, and one fan who was at Wednesday’s game revealed his savage response to a young fan asking for a souvenir.
The Reds were in San Francisco, and when asked for his batting gloves by what we’re guessing was a Giants fan in the front row, Votto was not having it.
Kid asks for Joey's batting gloves. Votto replies "You're sitting in the front row, you're elite. This isn't a 'Make A Wish' situation"… ?

Ouch. This seems like a good time to remind you that this is becoming a habit for Votto. Back in May, he did the foul ball toss fake move on Phillies fans.
Clearly, Votto likes playing the heel on the road. Perhaps this is all part of his contribution to the Make Baseball Fun Again campaign. Interesting way of doing it, if so.
