John Farrell tells heckling fan to ‘shut your a– up’ (Video)
Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell was tired of hearing from a heckler at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night, so he gave the guy a piece of his mind. Fortunately for us, it was caught on camera.
The Red Sox clinched the AL East division title on Wednesday and celebrated accordingly. There was presumably lots and lots of drinking, which probably led to lots and lots of hangovers. That’s why Farrell put a patchwork lineup together for Thursday’s game, which seemed to bother one fan.
But guess what? Farrell didn’t ask for any input.

He told that guy.
Some would say the Red Sox backed into the division title after being swept by the Yankees, but there was nothing fluky about the 12-game winning streak they went on prior to that series. The Sox return to Fenway Park this weekend, where they have unveiled this incredible tribute to David Ortiz in the outfield grass. Farrell will probably be thrilled to be home after hearing it in New York.
