Jon Lester amusingly cannot purchase his own All-Star gear
Jon Lester was named an All-Star for the fifth time in his career on Sunday, but he’ll apparently have to wait if he wants to get a jersey commemorating it.
The Chicago Cubs left-hander amusingly tweeted MLB asking where his apparel was in the league’s official shop.
Hey there @MLB I'm trying to buy myself an All-Star jersey (I was told I made the team) but I can't seem to find one with my name on it. You guys mad at me? Did I get cut?

Sure enough, a glance at MLB’s All-Star shop doesn’t turn up any Lester results as of Monday afternoon, instead displaying jerseys for numerous other players like Mike Trout, Bryce Harper, Aaron Judge, and Mookie Betts. Lester’s teammate Javier Baez has a jersey available as well.
It’s probably just an oversight that will be corrected in time, as Lester isn’t the only All-Star missing a jersey. Still, the league should’ve seen this coming after he started hitting bombs.
