Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy seems to be on his way out of town.
According to media reports and Brewers manager Craig Counsell, the Brewers are making progress on a trade involving Lucroy.
David Stearns "progressing" on a Lucroy trade, per Craig Counsell. Nothing final yet. Brewers playing it safe by keeping Lucroy out.

Heard Lucroy deal getting close. Tribe is still in it. Ken Rosenthal reporting Tribe catcher Francisco Mejia could be part of deal.

#Mets made no headway in Lucroy talks with #Brewers today. There's an increasing sense he won't be going to NY.

While the potential destination is unknown, it sounds like the Cleveland Indians are a frontrunner.
#Rangers are also out on Lucroy. Unless there's a mystery team, signs are pointing increasingly toward Cleveland.

As Crasnick noted, the Mets were in on Lucroy, but it sounds like their offer isn’t to Milwaukee’s liking. With Cleveland’s catcher situation, Lucroy would be a fantastic addition down the stretch.
