Jose Ramirez ditches trademark hairdo, Indians Twitter devastated
The luscious blond locks of Cleveland Indians infielder Jose Ramirez are gone.
Ramirez posted an image of himself to Twitter on Saturday showing his reversion back to a normal, plebeian hairstyle.

The Indians’ official Twitter account definitely appeared to be less than thrilled to receive the unfortunate news.

For a bit of context, Ramirez’s fiery, borderline-orange hair earned something of a cult following during the team’s 2016 World Series run. Here’s an example of the 24-year-old’s ‘do looked like back in the summer.
The demise of Ramirez’s trademark style will undoubtedly be a tough pill for the City of Cleveland to swallow. But if the Indians can just focus on what Ramirez does in the field (batting .312 with 11 home runs, 72 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases in 2016) instead of what he does in the barbershop (or in the parking lot for that matter), I’m sure they’ll be just fine.
