Juan Soto has received contract offers from 5 teams
If you want to be involved in the bidding for Juan Soto this offseason, there will be competition.
Randy Miller, who covers the New York Yankees for the Newark Star-Ledger, reported on Monday that five teams have made an offer for Soto: the Mets, Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox.
That is a starting point and gives us an idea of which teams will be involved in the pursuit of the outfielder. Things could change moving forward though.
Brendan Kuty, who covers the Yankees for The Athletic, says multiple rounds of bidding for Soto are expected, with perhaps the second round coming next week. The 26-year-old outfielder could sign around the time of the Winter Meetings, which take place Dec. 8-11 in Dallas, Texas.

The Mets, Yankees and Dodgers being involved is not too surprising since they are among the teams typically able to spend big money. The Red Sox being involved is surprising given the way they have cut costs in recent years. Maybe Boston is serious about trying to contend again.
