Kenley Jansen likely to skip Dodgers’ road trip to Colorado
The Los Angeles Dodgers will likely be without closer Kenley Jansen for their upcoming road trip to Colorado.
Jansen, who experienced an irregular heartbeat the last time the Dodgers traveled to Denver to face the Rockies, will likely skip the trip this time as a result of that issue, manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday.
The cardiologist visited by Kenley Jansen on Tuesday recommended that Jansen skip the Denver trip, Dave Roberts said.

The decision has not officially been made, but do not expect Kenley Jansen to make the trip to Denver.

There has been a clear link between Jansen’s heart issues and the thin air in Denver, which has caused problems for him in the past as well. There’s no use risking his health, even if that will be a huge series for both teams.
