It’s probably safe to assume Mets prospect Kevin Kaczmarski won’t park his vehicle in the spot that belongs to Jacob deGrom anymore.
When Kaczmarski arrived to New York’s spring training facility on Monday, he pulled into a parking space marked with the No. 48. The problem is, that isn’t Kaczmarski’s uniform number. No. 48 belongs to the above pictured former National League Rookie of the Year and All-Star. As teammate Josh Smoker shared via Twitter, this is what happened to Kaczmarski’s car.
Word to the wise. Don't Park in deGrom's spot, @KevinKaz4 pic.twitter.com/FGTXemSIZZ

Because it’s pretty much the only thing you can do in a situation like that, Kaczmarski had fun with it.
@Josh_Smoker I'll wear it lol

That’s certainly something Kaczmarski will remember from his 2017 spring training.
