Luis Severino left Game 2 with shoulder issue, does not appear serious
New York Yankees starter Luis Severino left Game 2 of the ALCS on Saturday with a shoulder issue, but it does not appear serious.
Yankee manager Joe Girardi said after the game that Severino’s shoulder was a concern, and led to the Yankees pulling the starter after just four innings. Doctors, though, said that there was no serious problem.
Girardi said the concern was with Severino’s shoulder. Checked out fine with doctors. He didn’t want to come out of the game.

Severino himself said that he had wanted to keep pitching.

The ace threw four innings and allowed only two hits, though one of them was a controversial home run to Carlos Correa. If the Yankees need him again, it sounds like he’ll be ready.
