Everyone was thinking the same thing when Manny Machado and Matt Kemp took a selfie together during Tuesday’s All-Star Game.
Kemp doubled during the bottom of the second inning of the All-Star Game at Nationals Park. That put him nearby Machado, who was playing shortstop for the AL squad. The two even snapped a selfie together, leading everyone to crack a joke about them being future teammates.

Reports on Tuesday have said Machado is headed to Kemp’s Dodgers in a trade. Some details about the supposed trade have even been shared. There is speculation that the trade was agreed upon before the game but it was not made official to avoid stealing headlines from the game, not to mention the possibility of adding complications about which league Machado would represent.
