Manny Machado’s trade to the Los Angeles Dodgers may not quite be as done as it looked.
According to MLB Network Radio’s Steve Phillips, at least one of the prospects the Baltimore Orioles would be slated to receive from the Dodgers could have issues with their physical, potentially holding up any deal.
Possible snag in Machado deal to Dodgers. Sources indicate that one or more of prospects coming to #Orioles have some issues in their physicals. Surprise surprise. May open door for other clubs. Stay tuned.

The Orioles are known to be notoriously strict with their medical reviews, and it’s scuttled deals before, though generally they were free agent pacts. In this instance, if the Orioles balk, they could renegotiate the trade or reopen talks with other teams. It’s just not clear how serious the holdup is.
