Mat Latos’ wife Dallas freaks out on Twitter over trade rumors
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mat Latos has been at the center of various trade rumors over the past several days, and his wife has not been handling it well.
Dallas Latos has been tweeting up a storm this week, openly admitting that she is freaking out and drinking wine in an attempt to deal with trade speculation. On Thursday, Latos was finally traded to the Miami Marlins. Here’s how everything unfolded for his better half.
Sources: I’m going to keep drinking wine until these trade rumors go away.

Literally just refreshing my Twitter feed to see if Mat is really REALLY traded. Hahahahahaha

Well, Mat has really been traded. He’s going to Miami in exchange for pitcher Anthony DeSclafani and catcher Chad Wallach. Dallas said she isn’t angry about the trade, she’s just relieved she doesn’t have to tweak out anymore while watching all the tweets roll in.
You guys… I am not mad about going to Miami. I am not complaining. These things are just surreal. Especially when it all unfolds on Twitter.

Apparently Twitter rumors can be extremely stressful for wives of MLB players. Remember how hilarious David DeJesus’ wife Kim was last year before DeJesus was traded? Both Kim and Dallas are glad it’s all over — for now.
