Matt Adams blasts home run off Clayton Kershaw in Game 4 (Video)
The St. Louis Cardinals did it again against Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, and this time it was Matt Adams delivering the big blow.
The Dodgers were up 2-0 on St. Louis entering the bottom of the 7th and Kershaw had only allowed one hit all game. He was cruising too, having struck out 9 batters. But just like in Game 1 of the NLDS where the Dodgers blew a 6-2 lead in the 7th inning, Kershaw got hit hard in the 7th inning and blew a lead.
Kershaw allowed hits to Matt Holliday and Jhonny Peralta, and then Adams took him deep to right to give the Cards a 3-2 lead. The Dodgers finally pulled him and went to the bullpen after the homer.
