Mike Trout appears on the Weather Channel to talk about blizzard (Video)
Mike Trout is the best baseball player on the planet. He is also a giant geek when it comes to the weather.
So when Trout’s Millville, New Jersey home was impacted by the enormous blizzard on the east coast Saturday, the only logical thing for him to do was to call into the Weather Channel and talk with Jim Cantore about the storm.
Trout divulged that he had “about a foot” of snow and he’d been waking up all night on an hourly basis to check the measurements. That’s dedication to your craft.
“The roads are terrible,” Trout said. “It’s awesome. I love it.”
Trout even managed to share some exclusive insider power outage information for his area from a source working for the electric company – namely his buddy George, who works for Atlantic City Electric.
Mike Trout: baseball superstar who makes plays like these, amateur meteorologist, budding journalist. He’s a true Renaissance Man.
