The Washington Nationals traveled from Philadelphia to Milwaukee on Sunday night for their series against the Brewers, and it would not be a surprise if they look like they are lacking energy during Monday night’s game.
Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports that the Nationals had an engine issue with their team plane that delayed their arrival in Milwaukee by several hours. They ended up having to sit on the tarmac in Philly for more than seven hours while the plane was repaired.

As if that doesn’t sound like a bad enough night, the Nationals were coming off a 7-1 loss to the Phillies.
Private planes for professional sports franchises have a lot more luxuries than most air travelers are accustomed to, but sitting on a runway for seven hours can’t be fun for anyone. Unfortunately, Mark Cuban was not in the area to help save the day for the Nationals.
Washington will take on the Brewers at 7:40 p.m. local time. We expect Nats players to have a pretty bad case of the Mondays.
